Colorado Springs could only be summed up in one word. EPIC.
We were blessed to make some new friends in Colorado springs. A friend of a friend of a relative of a friend of Andrew’s mom knew a family that lived in Colorado Springs that would love to have us stay with them! And so we did. And let me tell you – they are the sweetest family to ever walk this earth. They lived in the mountains with the most breathtaking view of the world. Snow capped mountains enveloping a valley of the most remarkable, rugged, red rocks. Two worlds, so completely different and yet felt so right together. I have never been in a place that so perfectly sums up this world in one location as Colorado does. A contrasting world. A beautiful world.
We spent the day exploring with our new friend John – Ignoring all the warning signs (typical) and scrambling up the cliffs to the beauty beyond. It was splendid i tell you. Simply splendid.
Colorado Springs, we love you. And we will definitely be back.
